Top 5 Things to Do on Valentine’s Day

Ah yes, Valentine’s day, in other words, the day of love. It’s truly a day that many look forward to, but those who may not have a partner to celebrate with dislike it. However Valentine’s day is not necessarily always about having someone to celebrate with, to elaborate on the duality of the day of love I will share 10 things to do on Valentine’s Day, partner or no partner.

  1. Go Ice Skating

Ice skating is a traditionally romantic activity, especially during cold winter months but it’s just as fun slipping and sliding with some of your close friends.

  1. Create a Scrapbook

Creating a scrapbook with a loved one or a bestie not only is an outstanding bonding activity but it also gives you something to look at to help cherish those lovely memories you have.

  1. Watch a Movie

Movies whatever the genre or quality is always better with your partner or friends, from personal experience watching bad films never fails to make everyone laugh.

  1. Play competitive games

Being competitive with those close to you is more enjoyable than you’d imagine. Winning and losing in party games is a non-toxic way to be competitive while building a stronger bond.

  1. Picnic

People love to eat, so why not eat with people you love and care for. You don’t need the red and white checkered blanket and the woven wood basket but eating somewhere scenic with your partner or friends always makes cherished memories.

There are tons of things you can do on Valentine’s Day, so just because you don’t have a partner to celebrate with doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! <3
