What study habits have helped you succeed throughout high school?
Honestly, I didn’t have great study habits at first. I usually crammed at the last minute and that made things harder. Later, I started trying to set small goals each day, like just reading a little bit or writing down key points. It helped, but it was a struggle. Stay on top of your work and turn it in ON TIME.
How did you stay organized and manage your time effectively?
I wasn’t really organized and I had trouble being on time a lot. I tried using my phone’s alarm and reminders, but sometimes I still missed deadlines. I’m still working on getting better at managing my time.
How did you maintain your mental health and deal with stress?
High school was stressful for me, especially when I was behind on work. Sometimes I just needed to take breaks and step away from everything. Talking to friends who understood helped a bit, but I often felt overwhelmed. Having a good influence around you makes it easier to get through and stay motivated with yourself.
What do you wish you had done differently academically in your earlier years?
I wish I had asked for help sooner instead of trying to do everything on my own. Also, being on time and turning things in when they were due would’ve made a big difference. I realize now that staying on top of things early on is really important.
