A horrible personal experience was three years ago when I had to drive all the way  to Florida for vacation. We had to drive there from Albany NY. The reason we had to drive all the way there is because we were driving down there to meet the rest of our cousins who are flying there. I love car rides but after this experience I am never driving to Florida ever again.

Everything was fine the first few days before the road trip, we were in Albany NY and was getting ready to leave for Florida. I was kinda nervous because I never drove this far before and i get car sick a lot, to be prepared for the drive we went to the store to get snacks such as chips, sandwiches and a lot of water and juice, to fill myself up for the drive I bought myself some Popeyes because that was my favorite fast food at the time. Little did I know this was a horrible mistake. Meanwhile… the drive was so long and I was so bored and hot I just decided to take a nap. I took a nap and woke up feeling fine at first until the first  hour I was up, I started to feel sick and anxious. I felt like I was going to throw up and a fever was sneaking up on me.

I told Dad and he pulled over so I could throw up. I threw up so much and every time I drank water or ate something I threw it up, I felt horrible and just wanted to go home. But that was not an option because we were in North Carolina and were miles away from home, I just had to see it through. I went back in the car and tried my best to sleep it off.  It’s a new day and we arrived at South of the Border. At that time I didn’t feel as sick anymore but I still felt it coming back, I guess I just needed fresh air . this experience wasn’t the worst but is still in my memories.
